Terms of Service - Pocket Pit-Lane

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Dekeract (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the Pocket Pit-Lane app (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

About the App

Pocket Pit-Lane is an unofficial, independent, fan-made Formula 1 calendar and information app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Formula 1, the FIA, Formula One World Championship Limited, Formula One Licensing B.V., any Formula 1 team, driver, or broadcaster. “F1”, “Formula 1”, “Grand Prix”, team names, driver names, and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only.

Licence to use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

Accuracy of information — please always double-check

The App displays Formula 1 information (schedules, session times, results, standings, statistics, circuit facts, and more). Much of this data is fetched from third-party sources (see Section 7) and some is compiled manually.

We do not guarantee that any information in the App is accurate, complete, or up to date. Data can be delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or temporarily unavailable — for example because a data source is wrong, has not yet updated, or is down. Session times and dates can change.

The App is provided for general information and convenience only. You should always cross-check important details (such as session dates and times) against official Formula 1 sources before relying on them — for example, before making travel plans or arrangements. We are not responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or decision made in reliance on information shown in the App.

Donations & support

The App includes optional ways to voluntarily support its development — an in-app donation ("tip jar") and a "Buy Me a Coffee" link.

• Support is completely voluntary and is not required to use any feature of the App.

• Supporting the App does not unlock features, remove anything, or entitle you to any goods, services, or ongoing benefit — it is a gift of support.

• In-app donations are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store / Apple Pay; the "Buy Me a Coffee" option is processed by Buy Me a Coffee. Each is subject to that provider's terms and to the price shown at the time.

• All donations are non-refundable. Once a donation is completed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded by us. (Any exception is handled solely by the relevant store or platform under its own refund policy, at its discretion — not by us.)

Languages & translations

The App is offered in multiple languages. Translations are provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or awkward phrasing. Any translation that appears incorrect, insensitive, or offensive is entirely unintended and is an honest mistake, not a reflection of our views or intent.

If you come across any such wording, we would genuinely appreciate it if you would let us know by emailing dekeracthypercube@gmail.com so we can review and correct it. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity, the English text is the intended reference version.

Intellectual property

The App itself — its design, layout, original text, graphics, and code — is owned by Dekeract or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. All third-party names, logos, trademarks, and data remain the property of their respective owners (see Sections 1 and 7). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law or the app store's terms.

Third-party data sources and services

The App relies on the following third parties, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy:

• Jolpica-F1 (Formula 1 data) — https://jolpi.ca — the community-run successor to the Ergast Developer API.

OpenF1 (Formula 1 data) — https://openf1.org

• Google Play / Apple App Store (distribution and donation processing).

• Buy Me a Coffee (optional support) — https://buymeacoffee.com

• Google Firebase (configuration and update checks) — https://firebase.google.com

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Your use of their data or services through the App is subject to their respective terms. See also the App's Third-Party Attributions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including (without limitation) attempting to disrupt or overload the third-party data services, scraping or redistributing data in violation of a provider's terms, or using the App in any unlawful way.

"As is" — no warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dekeract will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App or from reliance on any information in it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to, and discontinuation of, the App

We may update, change, suspend, or permanently discontinue the App (or any part or feature of it) at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice — for example, if maintaining it is no longer feasible for us. We may also stop supporting or shut the App down entirely at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for any such change, suspension, or discontinuation. We may also update these Terms as the App evolves; when we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the App means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may also suspend or end your access to the App if you breach these Terms or misuse the App.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country.
